August 2014 Highlights

Suzanne & Keystone Dagany are Hickstead National 6yr old Reserve Champions

Suzanne rode Janet Gee's beautiful black Dimaggio stallion Keystone Dagany to score 85.80% and win the reserve title.
Dagany (known as Merlin at home) has very few miles on the clock having been given time to mature and coped very well with the big show atmosphere.

Interestingly, Horse and Hound noticed him on one of his few outings earlier this summer and listed him as "one to watch". We would have to agree!

Del Magico and Stephanie Dearing are crowned Reserve 6 yr old World Young Horse Champions

Congratulations to Stephanie Dearing and the Pengg family's beautiful grey stallion Del Magico (by Dimaggio x Feinbrand).

They were 6th on day 1 in the Preliminary test with scores of 8.8 for trot, 7.8 for walk, 9.0 for canter, 8.8 for submission and 8.9 for general impression giving them a total of 8.66 which qualified them for the day two finals.

Day two they showed their consistency scoring 8.7 for trot, 7.9 for walk, 9.0 for canter, 8.8 for submission, 8.9 for general impression again totalling 8.66 points which was enough to secure 2nd place.

BEF Futurity is over for another year

Congratulations to all our connections that took part in this year's BEF Futurity. Dimaggio had three offspring that were awarded elite scores - two in dressage and one in eventing: another three in dressage that received higher first premiums and a further three in dressage that received higher first premiums where he was the dam sire.
Rhondeo also sired three offspring that received higher first premiums in the dressage section and one where he was the dam sire.

Dimaggio is currently placed 2nd in the dressage stallion ranking table with Rhondeo 12th based on average top 5 scores

Pachesham Area Festival

Congratulations to Hannah Powel & Keystone Winston (Walentino) who were crowned Restricted Elementary Champions at Pachesham Area Festival.

World Equestrian Games

Michael and Half Moon Delphi (Dimaggio) had an outstanding WEG where they helped Team GB win silver, qualified themselves for the Grand Prix Special and went on to be 8th overall in the Freestyle. Such exciting times for British Dressage and British Breeding.

July 2014 Highlights

Austria have Selected a 6yr old Dimaggio son to represent them at the 2014 World Young Horse Championships. Congratulations and good luck to Stephanie Dearing and the grey Hanoverian stallion Del Magico (Dimaggio x Feinbrand)

British Dressage Winter Championships - Hartpury 9-13th April 2014
Well done to all our connections that qualified for the Championships, Dimaggio was the lead sire, with 15 offspring competing.

Both Rhondeo and Walentino also had offspring competing with fantastic results - 4 champions were sired by our stallions:-

Rhondeo had his first outing of 2014 and won his first ever Inter II, competing at Hickstead

The foals have started arriving, Diosita was first with a chestnut filly by Dimaggio - pictured below is the full brother who is based in Germany

March 2014 Highlights

Our beautiful new stallion Fúrstenball stallion Flemenco has returned from Germany having been in front of the Oldenburg stallion panel. They were full of praise and have licensed him.

Kim Seaby and Keystone Rhadiant (Rhondeo) rode in their first British Dressage competition on the 1st and won a Novice class at Fairoak Grange with 73.21%. What a great start to their partnership.

February 2014 Highlights

Andrea Martin and Keystone Sandringham (Sandro Hit x Weltmeyer) had a fantastic time at the New Zealand National Dressage Championships coming home Level 7 National Champions - equivalent to Inter I in the UK. Andrea has set up a stud in New Zealand and has also taken delivery of Keystone Dimaggia (Dimaggio x Walentino) to add to her breeding stock.

January 2014 Highlights

Half Moon Delphi (Dimaggio) finished 2013 at 21 in the FEI World Rankings and second highest mare.

The British Breeders Awards named Woodlander Dornroschen (Dimaggio x Caprimond) as the Horse and Hound Outstanding mare of the year. Dornroschen is a successful international small tour horse and famously produce the double World young horse champion, Woodlander Farouche.

Baileys Horse Feeds/British Breeding/BEF Futurity Yearling Award was won by Keystone Rhea sired by Rhondeo out of the Dimaggio broadmare - Donna Dina. Rhea is another super example of how well the Rhondeo/Dimaggio lines work together and is destined for top flight dressage with new owner - Sally Barnes.

Despite the crazy wet weather and floods we took Diaggio to the British Bred Sport Horse (BBSH) stallion event at Hartpury College, Gloucestershire. This was by far the biggest occasion he has ever attended and we were thrilled with how well he coped with all the excitement. We received so much positive feedback, that it was well worth the trip.
